About Me

Welcome to Crystal Inspiration!

Hi, I’m Eline, mental health educator turned crystal companion guide.

The Not-So-Mystical Beginning

I’ve loved crystals since I was a kid. My dad would bring me these beautiful specimens. I still remember this massive chunk of Pyrite that I thought was the absolute coolest thing ever (partly because it looked like crumpled-up aluminium foil, and I LOVED aluminium foil balls, haha). I also had some breathtakingly gorgeous Clear Quartz geodes that I miss dearly. But I didn’t come to crystals as spiritual tools until much later.

My husband turned out to be a massive crystals fan! So, on fairs or markets, he’d often gravitate to the crystal booths. And I noticed that those were always absolutely packed with visitors. Just regular people, completely fascinated, drawn to these stones in a way that felt almost magnetic.

Crystals aren’t fringe. There’s just something about them that speaks to us. And once I started looking up crystal meanings, my mental health educator brain turned on. I got hooked on the patterns! And absolutely fascinated by crystals, because there is just something about them, right?!

See, crystal properties aren’t random, they cluster together in ways that are logical. Like how Amethyst is said to help clear your mind, calm anxiety, and help you settle down. It all fits together, right? Or take Citrine: happiness, creativity, success. What I love about that is the implication that happiness isn’t what you get after you’re successful, it’s what helps you get there. Being happy makes you more creative, more open to opportunities, more likely to see the abundance that’s already in your life. That’s a beautiful framework!

How I Approach Crystals

My background in social work taught me something important: what helps people cope doesn’t have to look the same for everyone. Moon rituals might be your thing. Pocket stones might be mine. We’re all finding what works, and that is exactly the key: searching and then finding what works for you!

I see crystals as beautiful tools for reflection, intention-setting, and grounding. Physical anchors for habits I’m building. Comforting objects during difficult times. For me, my crystal companions are supportive tools alongside other practices. But that’s just my lens. You might see them as energetic healers, beautiful collectors’ items, or meditative anchors. All valid.

What I care about is that you find what resonates with you. Whether you’re a curious skeptic, a seasoned practitioner, or somewhere in between, there’s space for you here, and I hope you’ll find some insights here that you can take along on your journey.

The Vibe Here

I write about crystals the way I practice with them: casually, practically, with an eye on the bigger picture. But more importantly, I want this to be a space where you can explore on your own terms.

No judgment on how you practice. Crystal altar or yoga pants pocket, it’s all good!

✓Multiple perspectives welcome. I share what resonates with me, but your intuition trumps my experience every time.

Practical when you want it. I lean toward accessible, everyday practices, but elaborate rituals feel magical!

Room to make mistakes. I’ve made plenty (buying crystals I never connected with, over-complicating things, following advice that didn’t fit). Learning what doesn’t work is part of finding what does.

What You’ll Find Here

Crystal Inspiration is my attempt to bridge the gap between esoteric mysteries and practical psychology. Here, you’ll find:

A lot of Talk about crystals: what works, what doesn’t, what’s worth your time and money.

Mental health perspectives: how crystal practices can support (not replace) your emotional wellness routine

Avoiding mistakes: my most popular posts because we all want to skip the trial-and-error phase

Practical rituals: simple stone steps you can actually incorporate into your busy life

Evidence-informed insights: connecting crystal practices to what we know about habit formation, mindfulness, and coping strategies

I also occasionally bring in other writers to share their perspectives, because there’s no single authority on how crystals should work in your life.

Take a Look Around

I started this blog because I believe personal transformation doesn’t require mystical expertise; it just requires curiosity, consistency, and compassion for yourself along the way.

Whether you’re a complete beginner wondering if crystals are “for you,” a skeptic who’s willing to try anything that might help, or someone who’s been collecting crystals for years, you’re welcome here!
